My parents know you have physically hurt me. They saw the mark you left on my neck from you strangling me, the bruise from you slapping me and put two and two together. They knew I was lying when I said things like “Oh it’s nothing...I just fell”

So, I’m sorry. If only I would’ve realized how much of a disgrace I am sooner. Then maybe I’d already have killed myself rather than chickening out and tossing the suicide note away. Hopefully this time will be different. By the time anyone reads this, I hope to be dead.

Dear Friends at Gaggle,
I’m not sure if I’ve met any/all of you. I am a member of NCERT and have seen either you or your colleagues present your solution at one of the many meetings you have attended.
In one of your presentations, you shared that you had saved 542 lives in the 2017-2018 school year. (I’m sure that increased for the 2018-2019 school year). When I saw that figure I thought that maybe it was inflated for marketing purposes. As of last night, I have become a full-on believer in the power of your product. Below is an email I sent to my Cabinet. It goes beyond the power of Gaggle into the need to be bold in our budgeting and to stand up for products that save and protect our students. While some may believe they are frivolous or above-and-beyond a school district’s responsibility, we have witnessed first-hand the return on our investment: it equates to one young person’s life, which is so much more valuable than the money we have spent on all of our products and solutions. In this era it truly DOES take a village to deal with the issues our children are faced with and to, when necessary, provide lifesaving efforts. Thanks to everyone of you, we made a difference to this young person and family.

A Mother’s Story / Feb. 3, 2020
“After learning the solution was only being used at the high school, I was angry,” she said. “I asked them, ‘What if
something happens? Would you want that on your hands?’”
“Gaggle gives me reassurance as a parent,” said Tricia. “Gaggle makes me believe that for the kid who needs the
help, there’s a great possibility that they will find it.”
While some parents are concerned about student privacy when it comes to reviewing students’ digital activity, Gaggle
Safety Management gives Tricia peace of mind. “If it’s going to protect my child or save my child, I don’t care how you
get the information, just get it,” she said. “And that’s what I believe Gaggle is doing—it’s getting struggling kids the
help they need because we can’t do it on our own.”
“I don’t have a filter at home—I have to trust my kids,” she said. “I teach them about digital citizenship because if they don’t want something out there, they shouldn’t post it. They’ll say ‘I deleted it!’ or ‘It goes away in 10 minutes!’ and I tell them it doesn’t. Anybody can take a screenshot.” The permanence of digital activity can be a difficult concept for teenagers to understand. “It will never go away,” said Tricia. “They have to realize that.”
“THESE INCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN SO FAST. GAGGLE HAS TAKEN OVER THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR US AND GAVE
ME THAT TIME BACK.”
