We will be selling 2nd hand (clean & near new) books only at the Book Fair. The Book Week theme fits perfectly in line with our staff personalities: CURIOUS CREATURES, WILD MINDS So it is time to have a really good chat about giving and reusing with the kids please. I know our Wallacia kids and community is a beautifully generous bunch, so I’m asking everyone to do a major cull of the kids’ book shelves to see what we can find to give back to the rest of our community. We are asking for 2 books per student (if you can spare them), and a maximum of 4 books (if you are able). We want really nice looking cared for books please. Students are to please bring in their donation books to school and place them in the special collection box in the front office please. All students are invited to dress up as their favourite Book Character or a Curious Creature, Wild Mind and participate in our Book Fair Parade (if we can invite the community we will - TBC).
