Pass On the Good News! What good news? – The Good News of Jesus
Christ and our Catholic Faith! This fall, over
100 children and young people, preschool
through grade 12, will sign up to learn more
about Jesus and the Catholic faith. You can
help them learn and grow as well! As one
long-time catechist put it, “I learn so much from the chil-
dren!” We provide you with training, and support. Classes
begin September 17th.
Our parish is in need of Religious Education Teachers
and Teacher’s Helpers this year. Please consider helping
this year if you can. If interested or for more information,
contact Mrs. Martinez at 474-9033 or call the parish office
at 474-9032.
“What greater work is there than training the minds
and forming the habits of the young?”
~Saint John Chrysoston
Next gathering: Monday September 11, 2017
In the Community Room.
Please consider joining us – all are welcome! Do not know how to knit or crochet?
Want to learn? We will teach you.
Lord, we ask a blessing on those hands whose have be-
come instruments of creation and beauty; who have used
humble tools and simple fibers in order to provide comfort
and warmth for those in need of your loving care. Bless
also, the yarn, crochet hooks and knitting needles. May
any negativity be cast away as we cast on; and may love
be bound in as we bind off. In the simple beauty of our
works, may faith and grace be found. For additional infor-
mation call Deborah in the parish office at 474-9032.

More than a union based on romantic love or mutual fulfillment, marriage goes back to the very essence of what it is to be human – and reflects a design placed in our hearts by God himself. Beloved explores the spiritual and eternal reality behind "I Do." Beautifully filmed and featuring acclaimed marriage ex-perts, Beloved speaks to the very heart of every husband and wife, bringing sacramen-tal truth and God-infused love into the every-day challenges of married life. Beloved: Mys-tery & Meaning of Marriage includes six in-spiring and informative sessions and are for engaged couples or those who are consider-ing marriage in the future. Please contact your parish priest to sign up for the classes. Classes for this six-week session will take place at Immaculate Conception Church be-ginning Thursday, September 7th at 6:30 PM.

REDISCOVER YOUR MARRIAGE
Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long

successfully saved their marriages by attend-
ing. Retrouvaille is a not spiritual retreat, not
a sensitivity group, not a seminar, not a social
gathering. For confidential information about
or to register for the October program begin-
ning with a weekend on Oct 27 to 29,
2017 call 907-863-8000 or
