SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Preparation classes for celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation for adults age 18 and over will begin on Tuesday, January 30, from 7:30 to 9 PM. Santa Margarita Catholic High School will be hosting an Open House on Monday evening, January 22nd. The program will begin at 6:30pm in our Moiso Pavilion (gym) and participants will be broken into tour groups, hearing presentations and learning about our beautiful, state of the art, 42 acre campus and all that we have to offer along the way. DOLOROSA MEN’S RETREAT

The MBSJC RETREAT FOR MEN will be held at the Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center on the weekend of January 26-28, 2018. You are invited to join your fellow parishioners for this serene weekend of spiritual growth and enrichment. The Passionist Retreat Team offers inspirational talks on the theme, as well time for quiet prayer and strolls through the peaceful and beautiful gardens, in addition to daily Mass, Confessions, and Stations of the Cross. The theme which will be developed over the weekend is “Going Without Knowing: Pitching Our Tent in Faith”. The retreat begins on Friday evening with a buffet supper, and concludes with Mass on Sunday. Please contact John Tenery, your Parish Retreat Captain for information on the Retreat, and how to register. The Suggested donation is $250.00. A $50.00 Deposit is required to reserve a room.

ENTENDIENDO DEL PROCESO DE RICA PARA NIÑOS Y ADOLECENTES

Que es RICA? Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos es el proceso regular para bautizar adultos dentro de la Iglesia Católica Romana. También es el proceso para bautizar a niños que han llegado a la edad de entendimiento. Lo cual, cualquier niño que este en edad escolar, no se bautiza con el Rito del Bautismo Infantil. Estos niños deben de ser tratados como adultos usando la versión adaptada para su edad del Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos. Estos niños son capaces de recibir y cultivar una relación personal con Cristo y saber la diferencia entre el bien y el mal. Así como los adultos estos niños son preparados para una iniciación completa (Bautismo, Confirmación y Eucaristía) durante la Vigila Pascual. En el momento tenemos 30 niños en el Proceso Adaptado para Niños de en RICA. Si su niño esta en edad escolar y no ha sido bautizado por favor comuníquese con Dulce Flores.

El Congreso de Educación Religiosa es el evento más grande de su clase a nivel mundial. Ha continuado su objetivo inicial de ofrecer formación de fe y espiritual para quienes están envueltos en su parroquia. Atrae a más de 40,000 participantes durante los cuatros días que se lleva a cabo y ofrece más de 300 talleres que abarcan temas desde espiritualidad, música, y desarrollo personal hasta estudios bíblicos y catequéticos. ¡Inscríbete ahora! Puedes inscribirte en línea en www.RECongress.org o puedes pasar por un paquete de inscripción en la oficina del Centro Pastoral, u oficina de Educación Religiosa. El congreso se llevará a cabo en el Anaheim Convention. El costo es de $70 por persona hasta el 13 de enero. Después de esta fecha, incrementará el costo. Las fechas son del 16 al 18 de marzo del 2018.
