PUT IT ALL TOGETHER! (THIS IS FOR YOUR REFERENCE WHEN STUDYING IF YOU DEEM IT HELPFUL)
Standing Flexion Test(tells side of dysfunction)
Seated Flexion Test (Sacroilial, Iliosacral)
Spring Test/Sphinx test(flexed or extended sacrum)
DONE!
Assess ASIS, PSIS, Ischial Tuberosity(all in reference to SIDE of DYSFUNCTION)
Diagnose!
Deep Sulcus
Posterior ILA (inferolateral angle)
Diagnose!
Diagnosing Notes:1) Positive Spring test = extension (L on R, R on L, bilateral extension) and are RARE especially in your classmates!2) Posterior ILA corresponds with your first letter of diagnosis(i.e. posterior left ILA = L on L, L on R, L unilateral flexed)3) Left on Right means the sacrum is rotating left on the right axis.4) Flexed sacral dx (L on L) will have a + standing flexion test on the opposite side of rotation (Right) whereas an extended sacral dx (L on R) will have a + standing flexion test on the same side of the rotation (Left)
