I would like to thank all the members of Theodore Roosevelt lodge in seeing me fit to lead the lodge this year. I would especially like to thank Brother Marty Martinez, Richard Goe, and Paul Gagan in helping me with positions of tiler and counselors. Also, a huge thank you to Past Master Mike Belongia for helping me get ready and offering his assistance on anything that I may need. As many of you know, we lost a brother in December and Past Master Belongia wanted to dedicate this year to his enthusiasm for the craft. I know a lot of things come up and we all don’t see eye-to-eye on all sub- jects, but if we can all come together as Brothers and instead of back room bickering, use that energy to help our lodge and members that need assis- tance, we will be stronger and have more respect for one another. This year we will be participating in the Entered Apprentice Degree compe- tition put on by Grand Lodge. We will practice a lot and I expect to win the competition with just our line officers, no ringers. BE PREPARED. Thank you again, and I promise a menu in the next issue. Barry V.
