The changes

In S2 students study 18 different subjects

In S3 and S4 students study 8 subjects

and they continue with PE, RME and PSE

Levels

Students will complete fourth level courses during the initial part of S3, before embarking on their National 4 or 5 courses.

In the majority of the subjects students will be sitting at either National 4 or National 5 level.

Make sure it is a broad choice of subjects to keep your options open in S5 / 6

What to do

Make sure the name is on the form

Place a 1 for first choice in each column

Place a 2 for second choice in each column

Make sure that a different subject is chosen for columns F, G and H

Class sizes

We may not be able to run classes for small numbers.

Quite often classes will be full to capacity, particularly in the sciences.
