• ThenotchesobservedarenotunusualandtypicalwithanSCRdrivesystemthustheneedforaseparatecleanpowersourceforsensiJveconsumers.
• BaseduponreviewoftheP614,P615loads,thereareanumberofdifferentconsumerswhichmostlikelyinteractwitheachother.Forinstance,theROV3phaseelectronicpowerconvertersandVFDswilllikelygeneratesomeelectricalnoise.NoSceablesensiSveloadsarethetoolvanloadswhicharesuppliedthrougha30AbreakerwithtypicaloperaSngcurrentsof10A.Everythingelse,HPU,VFDs,socstarters,etc.shouldcopeunlesstheyareinteracSngwitheachother.Ifso,thisshouldbetakencareofbytheirsuppliers.Alloftheseloadsaresupposedtobedesignedformarineenvironmentandbeproperlyprotected.Again,theonlysensiSveloadsonthelistarethevantoolswhichcouldbeprotectedwithseparatesmallfilters.

simpleandreliable.DCdrivescreateharmonicdistorSoninthepowersystem.HarmonicmiSgaSonisalwaysrequiredinthesystemswithlargeDCdrives.OneofthemaindisadvantagesofDCdrivesisanotchphenomenon.ThenatureofthisphenomenonisconnectedtothyristorcommutaJonwhenonethyristorinonephaseisopeningbutanotherthyristorinadifferentphaseisnotclosedyet.Theseverityofthenotchproblemsdependsonthesystemparametersanditisverydifficulttoreliablyevaluateitinadvance.Inmostofthecases,standardelectricalequipmenttoleratesnotcheswellexceptwhenthenotchesarereallydeepandtheycreateaddiSonalzerocrossingsinvoltagewaveform.InthiscasesomeelectronicequipmentmightmalfuncSon.
