TPQ RUGGED STORAGE zmicro.com zmicro.com zmicro RUGGED COMPUTING SOLUTIONS SecureLock - Encrypted Data Protection With SecureLock, disk drives are locked and data remains encrypted until the proper encryption keys are installed using a specially configured USB token. The USB token can be used to unlock drives that stand-alone or used in conjunction with ZMicro’s TPQ supported computers. Once the key token is provided, the system operates normally and disk encryption is completely transparent to end-users. High-Capacity Storage Solution In A Removable Module Whenever the system is powered down, the drives are automatically locked until the next time the system in powered on and the key is again provided. SecureLock also allows users to lock drives by issuing a command either by a thumb drive or over the network during normal operation. SecureLock additionally provides a highly effective cryptographic erase capability that enables users to quickly and permanently erase all drive data by issuing a command to one or more drives. Drives that have been cryptographically erased can be safely reformatted for reuse or retired. SecureLock is available in systems outfitted with ZMicro’s TPQ removable high-density solid state drives. TPQ drives support AES 256-bit full-disk encryption at SATA III speed. Maximum Storage Capacity The TPQ’s mechanical architecture supports up to four standard COTS solid-state drives to provide a high-capacity storage solution in a removable module. The onboard SATA bridge controller simultaneously manages each solid-state drive so your storage device appears as a single SATA hard-drive to the host system. The TPQ supports SATA3 transfer rates to guarantee high data throughput for intensive data collection activities. Integrated USB Docking Station The TPQ is designed for use in ZMicro computers but is conveniently designed for desktop access via the on-board micro-USB connector. A USB token is still required to access the data, but the micro-USB provides users a method to access the data and content collected on the TPQ drive on any standard computer with a USB connection.
