•All parts are painted as needed per order within 8 hour lead time•Parts are packed at the paint line to a work standard ready for use at the assembly cell flow racks (No double/triple handling of parts)•No need for lift trucks to transport parts – all done be line leaders of cell•Carts are color coded by family•Reduction of painted part inventory•6 spare grey carts in system can be used on any line to handle volume shifts with color placard system.
