DISTANCE FROM VENUE & TRANSPORT OFFER: approx. 15-20 min by bus. A Bus Shuttle

service will be arranged for EJTN participants from CATHEDRAL SQUARE, VILNIUS to the

training venue. The corresponding price (approx. 8€ per day) will be deducted from the participant’s per

diem – the bus schedule is available in the Agenda. The bus shuttle will be organised on the 9th of May to

the Vilnius Airport via the city centre.

TRANSFER FROM VILNIUS AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTER

A. By Bus

• By Bus - bus number 88 is convenient for city guests. The route starts at the airport, goes to the

city centre and the Old Town. You can check the timetable: www.trafi.lt/ or

Ticket Price: Please note that a single journey will cost € 1. Tickets may be purchased directly from the bus

driver and must be validated in the bus.

B. By Taxi

• By taxi - the best connection to the City by Vilnius Airport approved taxi. Vilnius Airport

approved taxi rank can be found just in front of the arrivals terminal. Always ask for a receipt at

the end of the trip. Taxi Fair: expect to pay up to €10 - €20 to the central locations. For more

ACITVITY ARRANGEMENTS

The following meals and activities will be organized by EJTN and the hosting institution. All seminar

attendees are kindly requested to confirm on their EJTN online Registration Form whether they wish to

take part in the official THEMIS dinner, which will be located outside of Vilnius (30min by bus) in part of

the organised visit to the Trakai Island Caste – one of the most famous landmarks in Lithuania.

7th May – There will be an organised 2-hour guided tour of Vilnius after the first day (please state in the

online registration form if you would like to participate (5€ per person).

8th May – After the end of the second day we will travel to the amazing Trakai Island Caste – there is an

option to participate in the guided tour of the castle (7€ per person) – The event’s official social programme

(dinner) will be at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the castle suggested by the host institution, (approx.

35€ dinner menu). The amount will be deducted from the corresponding per diem for the participants who

confirmed their attendance in the online registration form. Please note if you have confirmed your

participation for the dinner in the online registration form and do not attend it – it will still be deducted from

your per diem.

Coffee-breaks, lunch and the shuttle service will be organized by the training’s hosting institution and

directly invoiced to EJTN. The corresponding amount (approx..3€ per CB, 15€ per lunch and 29€ for round-

trips with the shuttle bus from the meeting point to the venue and the visit to the Trakai castle/official dinner)

will be automatically deducted from the per diem. Guided tours for the city and the Trakai castle are payed

on the spot by each participant.
