The playground is divided into two edibly themed gardens with each designed to provide an outdoor learning space with lots of different edible elements.

The fruit and vegetable garden will contain raised beds, made from new oak sleepers, for each year

group to plant different herbs and vegetables. There will be fruit beds where the children will plant a mix of soft fruits such as raspberries, strawberries,

blackcurrents and gooseberries.

We need help to raise money for these items for the fruit and vegetable garden:

21 apple or pear trees - £50 eachOne starter pack of tools, pots and seeds - £150

Equipment for rainwater harvesting - £150One coldframe for protecting seedlings - £350

The fruit and vegetable garden

We need to raise as much money as possible to make sure the play-ground is as amazing as it can be, after all that’s what the children deserve.

The edible woodland garden will contain a walkway of typical native woodland plants such as blackcurrents, redcurrents and wild garlic.There will be an outdoor classroom where the children will be able to have lessons and learn about all the things in their new garden.

In this garden we need to raise money for:

60 Woodland sapligs - £1.50 eachRecylced tyre flooring - £60 per metreEquipment for rainwater harvesting - £150Two sails for the outdoor classroom - £200 each
