Accessing the format data series dialog box

To emphasize a particular slice of the pie chart, we may want to rotate the pie until the slice of interest is in the foreground of the pie.

Increasing the angle of slice one

Click on the up arrow of the spinner until the angle of the first slice is set to 120 degrees. At this angle, the blue slice will appear in the foreground or bottom of the chart.

To rotate the 3-D pie chart, right click on the chart area, and select the 3-D View command from the popup menu.

The 3-D View dialog box

The 3-D View dialog box contains two button for rotating the pie chart both clockwise and counter-clockwise. When the rotation buttons are click, the rotation text box will show the angle, and the preview chart will show a wire-frame depicting the 3-D pie.
