GUEST SPEAKERS: ANU Med Students Six of the students who are in the rural stream at the ANU Medicine course came to the club dinner. They all have an undergraduate degree, mostly in the field of Medical and Health Science. All of the students expressed their thanks for the hospitality and described the visit to the area as an opportunity for learning. Having visited Cooma and Bombala Hospitals, they can appreciate the wide range of illnesses that can occur in small country towns. They are all in their second year of Medicine and next year will have a rural placement.

Claire Allen from Canberra teaches yoga and has a great interest in music.

Cameron Donnet is from the small town of Yarragon in the Gippsland area and is enjoying being back in a rural community.

Greg Lee comes from the small town of Kettering in Tasmania, a small town with no doctor at present. His first degree was in Science.

Georgina Howard was born and raised in Canberra but is familiar with the local area as her family owns a house at Old Adaminaby. Her first degree was in Psychology.

Paul LeMesurier, from Albury, studied Medical and Health Sciences at Wollongong. One of these days he hopes to get back to a place that has a real beach.

Rachael McCormick is a New Zealander and did her undergraduate stuedies at the University of Auckland.
