Ron Rodriguez is an accomplished trial lawyer and The National Public Justice Foundation’s 2010 Trial Lawyer of the Year. Ron graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Business and School of Law. He is board-certified in personal injury trial law and a past president of the Laredo-Webb County Bar Association.

He serves on the Court Rules Committee of the State Bar of Texas and on the Texas Su-preme Court Ancillary Proceedings Task Force. Ron is the president of The Law Offices of Ronald Rodriguez, PC. He is a licensed by the United States Supreme Court, the State Bar of Texas and the United States District Court, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Ron is married to Mari Rodriguez, and they have three beautiful children.

Dear Fellow Attorneys in District 12:

It is Laredo-Webb County’s turn to have one of its attorneys serve as our next District 12 Bar Director. Our district would be well served by having Ronald (Ron) Rodriguez formerly from the Valley, now a Laredo-Webb County attorney, as our next District 12 Director.

We personally know Ron to be an honest, dedicated, experienced and an extremely hard-working lawyer highly qualified for this important position. Ron is a skilled trial lawyer that can appreciate the needs of all of District 12, having practiced many years successfully han-dling cases throughout the Valley, including Willacy, Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, Zapata, Webb, Maverick, LaSalle, and Frio counties and throughout Texas. Ron also has family in the Mission / McAllen area.

Ron is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Special-ization. Recently, Ron was nationally recognized being named Public Justice’s National Trial Lawyer of the Year for the entire United States.

Statewide, Ron has been appointed by past and current bar presidents to serve on state-wide bar committees. He currently serves on the Court Rules Committee of the State Bar of Texas and was formerly the Chair of the Trial Rules Sub-Committee. He was also appointed by the Texas Supreme Court to the Texas Supreme Court Ancillary Proceedings Task Force. Ron currently serves as a member of the District 12 Grievance Committee.

Locally, Ron was elected as a Past President of the Laredo-Webb County Bar Association. Ron also received from the Laredo-Webb County Bar Association the coveted Spark Plug Award for his energetic service and dedication to the local bar members. Ron has been recog-nized by his community as a LULAC Tejano Achiever. Ron has also been honored by Texas Rural Legal Aid Laredo Branch Office for his commitment to Justice for All.
