The project adresses nurses beingin European mobility or intraineeship placement and nursesworking in contact with patients withdifferent cultures and languages.

The PROMIP-Lerning Partnership focussed onthe issue of migrants' participation in the hostcountries. The main objective of thepartnership was to find out what are theencouraging aspects and hurdles/impedingfactors for the participation of migrants in thehost society.

basic computer skills.

• Each participant created a virtual book ofpresenting the local heritages from itscountry. The books were sent to the otherparticipants by e-mail. The participantsadded the books to the Virtual Library andevaluate them by adding notes.

• A Virtual Library of the European patrimonybcreated on the wiki website. Theparticipants uploaded their created bookson the wiki page. They made comments andcommunicate on the wiki space.

• During the tree study visits, the participantscollected information about the localheritage: architecture, art, culture, historyand landscape.


The MU(U)MORIES project deals withsenior citizens, promoting their active rolein a local community, helps them to get upto speed with digital technology, improvestheir language skills and develops crossgeneration activities. The project activitieswill enable two different generations tobetter understand one another and topromote both Community and Europeanspirit.

• Within the Memories project,EDUNET provided seniorscitizens with ICT training,especially courses forgrandparents with the aid oftheir grandchildren, andorganize social activities toengage the seniors both in themodern , digital world and inthe social community life.

• EDUNET cooperated withvarious public and privateschools and non-governmentalorganisations in the region.

Adults interested in discovering Romanian culture and personaldevelopment that have at least basicEnglish skills, including adults with disabilities and adults withspecial needs.

• Day 1: Introduction to Romania and its language– practice basic words and expressions withlocals

• Day 2: Religion and traditions Day – visitMadona Dudu Church, Romanian traditions,parade offolkloric costumes, workshop oftraditional dances, learning the cultural hymn ofOltenia region;

• Day 3: Arts Day – visit the Museum of Arts, theinfluence of folkloric art on Brâncu? i’sworks,workshop on sculpture and carving;

• Day 4: Handcrafts Day – visit the Museum ofEthnography, workshop on weaving andknitting,workshop on pottery and ceramics;

• Day 5: Trip to Novaci Traditional PastoralFestival “Climbing with the sheep on themountain”, visiting a traditional Romanianhousehold,.

EDUNET PURPOSE

In the search of a job, many people travel abroad or inother parts of Romania, which results to theabandonment of the elders who are left behind withoutthe proper care.

– Edunet will focus on the lonely elders or parents whose childrenare living abroad and they are left alone in residences or in daycare centers. Edunet will undertake to organise in the project alanguage training course and a series of workshops whereelders could learn how to use computers and communicate bye-mai, Skype or Messenger with their family and friends living inRomania or abroad.

– Edunet will undertake to organise a language training courseand a series of workshops where elders could learn how to usecomputers and communicate by e-mai, Skype or Messengerwith their family and friends living in Romania or abroad.
