What is the Romania Aid Group?

The Romania aid group is a charity that helps poverty and sickness in Romania.

It started in 1990.

First of all the charity delivered help to Botosani, which is in Romania.

They met a group of children aged between 3-15. Most of them were disabled in some way and the orphanage they were in was in an appalling state. The Romania aid group decided to help and support them.

These children were moved to another orphanage, but by this time the oldest children had to move into an adult hospital which was even worse than the one they had been in before.

The Romania Aid group decided to look after some of the older children instead of them going to the adult hospital.

After lots of fund-raising the Romania Aid group bought the House of Blessings for five youngsters to live in.

They respect each other and value each person and the staff that helps them.

The StaffThere are lots of people working to help

these youngsters in their home. The house manager is called Lili and she is

responsible for running the house. There are some care staff, an instructor, a gardener, a doctor and an accountant

(someone who deals with all the money).
