The OH&S manager of a large Sydney corporation wasconcerned at the level of speeding in the
company’s car parks.
The manager authorised the trial of two
SpeedCheck signs fitted with a digital camera that couldemail the images of offending vehicles back to her PC.
The trial was so successful in curbing speeding, that thesigns are now a permanent fixture.

The Gold Coast Bulletin (October 2, 2010) reports on aninitiative aimed at increasing safety for road workers.
