Investigation29.2% of South Africa’s population are made up by children. 3 in every 5 of children younger than 17 are living in poor households with access to poor education and living in a bad environmentevery day 3 children get killed, mostly by perpetrators out of their close social environment

• Community need: Safer environment for the kids at the school Riversands after classes.

• Mission: To create the safe environment for the kids by interacting with them after their school finishes. Give the kids something to look forward to.

• A. Planning and initiating activities (Improve my leadership skills) by attending every meeting, knowing what is going on and taking an active role.

• B. Undertake new challenges

• C. Collaboration, team work with everyone (kids in Riversands, teachers and people from AISJ)

Action

• Only went to the school twice– Looked around the school to see what we could

do while we waited for the children. – Picked up as much trash as we could.

Fund Raising• Football Match: Students vs. Teachers

- Try to collect money for Riversands to solve their different problems.- Managed to collect R.1300
