About Me My name is Rex Liu, a 12 year-old boy born in Vancouver 2002 November 26. I spent 8 years in a small townhouse on a street called Woodbrook place in Burnaby with my sister and my brother until grade 3, when I moved to Surrey. My experience living in that townhouse had a big part in making me the person I am today. I had many friends that I used to play with every day after I finished my homework. We used to bike around the neighborhood and played at the small playground that nearby. My life greatly changed when I moved to Surrey. It was very different from my townhouse in Burnaby. We now had a backyard and two floors. I used to go outside to my backyard every day to run around and play, but soon ended. I had to start to go to a new school named H.T. Thrift. I wasn’t a very social person at that time so going to a new school was a big challenge for me, but luckily, the people were very friendly there so I felt better. I went to school happily every day until a big occasion happened, I graduated from elementary school and went

Semiahmoo Secondary School. Computer Studies happened to be one of my courses and here I am, typing on the schools computer. I thought about this
course a lot before school started. I wanted to learn how to edit photos, how to make a website, and learn things that will make school work easier for me. Even though I have no experience in Computer things; I want to learn some skills to
help me at school and in the future to make life easier. Fortunately, my siblings are nice people and don’t make my life harder. My sister is 18 and is now in
University in London, Ontario, Canada studying medical science. My brother is in
grade 9 and also learning Computer Studies A in Mr. Hapke’s class. My parents both work on the weekdays so I don’t see them much, but they are very nice and
help me a lot with my daily tasks. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pets to play with, but I do want a dog soon. My hobbies are playing badminton, watching
anime, and learning new things. I use technology in many ways and hope to learn many things in this course.
