audience is between 15-25 the results from this survey should be relevant

The target audience for our trailer is a mixture of male and female so

once again the results should be relevant. Although horror is usually

targeted at males, we feel our trailer will appeal to both genders.

Do you like the trailer to reveal much of the story?

From the results we learnt that the majority of people don’t like the trailer

To reveal much about the films story. Now we know this we will try not to

give much of the back story about what causes the girl to become

possessed.

Most people who took our questionnaire preferred the

psychological genre to everything else. This means our trailer

should be creepy and thought provoking. Paranormal was the

second most popular result which is good as our trailer involves

these elements

The most popular result for the setting of our horror trailer was

inside a house. Luckily this was also the setting we have

chosen for our trailer as it makes the story seem more realistic

and closer to home.

The main thing our group wanted to include in the trailer was

CCTV footage as we believe it can be creepy if done

correctly. From our audience research we can see that are

presumptions were correct.

In our group discussion’s, one thing we all decided we would like in

our trailer was sound effects, in particular crackling sounds to

accompany the CCTV aspects of our trailer. From our audience

research we can see that this would be an effective thing to include.
