as you can see are

female. However I

still have a steady

majority of males

*The most popular age within the majority who completed my questionnaire are 16 year olds. Ages also includes 17 year olds and 19 year olds, however no 18 year olds.

* I wanted to get an idea of what people’s favourite genre’s was, and to my surprise, a lot of people chose my current genre for my magazine, which is Hip Hop. However, the next most popular is pop music.

*This set of results is significant as it allows me to see what magazine people enjoy to read, and to see what is popular, as I can get inspiration and ideas from that particular magazine. Vibe magazine was definitely the most popular. This is also at my advantage as it is a Hip Hop magazine, the same as mine will be.

*This set of results is quite even. There was 15 people included in this survey, therefore 5 people each are on each of these points.

*This question allows me to understand how people listen to music, and what device they us. This will help me when I come to writing the content in my magazine and to choose popular methods of device, buy looking back at this result.

*This lets me know how many people buy music from different kinds of suppliers. This will help me as when I need to know the most mainstream way of buying music, if I want to mention it in my magazine.

*This is possibly one of the most important sources of research as this will help me complete my contents page and also my double page spread. Here people have stated what they would prefer to see in a Hip Hop magazine and what they would find interesting, which is what I need to find out, to make my magazine as interesting as possible.

*Colours are extremely important for designing purposes and also the for the suitability of my magazine, as I want it to fit in with my target audience, which is 16-35 year olds, and colour can help me define this. Here are the results of what people thought the best colours would be for a Hip Hop magazine. Some people stated more than just one colour, hence the size of the pie chart. However, this will just help me even further during the designing of my font cover, contents page and double page spread
