The market is setting new sales records every month. Most restylers are well aware of the opportunities with trucks, and those opportunities have been very impactful on the restyling business over the past couple years. But the real success currently is very diverse. Incredible opportunities for luxury and styling upgrades are prevalent with all mid-market vehicle makes and across most segments. The mainstream SUV segment with vehicles such as

the new Equinox, RAV4, CRV, Rogue and others are leading the way with consumers demanding the top trim line upgrades like leather on nicely equipped base and mid-trim-line vehicles. Two big trends: There has been a huge increase in the availability of late-model (and low-mileage) used vehicles. These models are almost new and provide an excellent opportunity for restylers to add value for vehicle dealerships. And the other big trend has been with the new vehicle dealership. New vehicle volumes are flattening at a very healthy rate. But now that they’re flattening, dealerships are more receptive than they have been in recent years because proper restyling can greatly increase their profit per sale and keep them growing the bottom line.
