Restoring a Previous version of a file on your Home Folder(H:)

Open your Home folder

Navigate to the directory containing the file

Right click on the folder Select Restore Previous versions

The saved copies are listed – there are 4 snapshots each day!

Open one of the folders that has a good copy

Double click the file you want:

Make sure this is the version you want (…& enjoy a feeling of relief if it is)

From the file menu you can see that this is a recoveredversion

Now we’ve found it letssave it

Click Save As

Save the file- ideally givingit a new name
