Get ready to do some serious eating during the next couple of weeks.
Year No. 4 of Colorado Springs Restaurant Week kicks off Friday and runs through Oct. 4 (unless otherwise noted). Now is the time to experiment and widen your dining-out palate. Here’s how it works: 37 participating local restaurants offer special three-course dinner menus for two at $30, $45 or $60. Keep in mind the prices do not include tax and tip.
So what’s new this year?• The website, csrestaurant
Tajine Alami Moroccan Restaurant’s Apricot, Raisin, Almond & Chocolate, Strawberry, Almond Pastilla with Baklava.

week.com. There you can search the complete list of restaurants and the menus offered alphabet-ically or by price, neighborhood or cuisine.
• Facebook page at facebook.com/events/1524924731054807/. Check in to see what people are
saying about their dining expe-riences or let others know about the eateries you have tried. Share the page with your friends.
• Ethnic diversity. There are many new restaurants in this year’s roster that feature ethnic foods, including Fratelli Ristoran-
te Italiano, The Front (Italian), Le Bistro, Lucha Cantina, Silver Pond Chinese Restaurant, Spice Island Grill and Tajine Alami Moroccan Restaurant.
• Brand new places. A couple of the newest restaurants in town are offering the special meal deals: Natural Epicurean at The Broadmoor and The Public House Pub & Grill.
• Going local. Many of these locally owned gems are capitaliz-ing on the harvest season and are featuring the abundance of local foods.
• The contest. Media spon-sor Fox21 will give away nine coupons valued at $50 from nine CSRW participants. Visit csrestaurantweek.com and click on the Fox21 tab to enter. Cou-pons are redeemable after Oct. 4.TERESA J. FARNEY, THE GAZETTE, 636-0271, [email protected]
