The Trafford Park Metrolink extension which opened in April 2020 to connect Manchester City Centre to The Trafford Centre, has introduced a new Metrolink station outside the Imperial War Museum North, increasing profile and access to MediaCityUK, making it arguably the most connected location in Manchester.

Residential development close to MediaCityUK has also exploded, with several major developments completing recently, including X1 Media City Towers.
The residential population within a 10 minute walk of MediaCityUK is estimated to be in excess of 7,500 residents.
MediaCityUK is a waterside walk away from iconic sporting grounds, with the site being a popular stop for visitors before and after matches. The popular concert venue, Victoria Warehouse is also less than ten minutes away, attracting some of the coolest names from the music industry and their fans.

Box on the docks is rebuilding our community
30 unique and eye-catching 'boxes' have been installed outside Media City’s restaurants, winding through the gardens and along the waterfront. The self-contained dining pods taking the form of sheds and greenhouses, decorated by Salford-based artists and creatives.
A ready-made audience and opportunity for YOUR brand - Box on the Docks brought twice the amount of visitors to Media City during its first two months.
A unique outdoor dining experience. A piece of impactful public art. Launched to support our hospitality community and local creative industries at a time when they need it most.
