PASTORAL LETTER for 2016 ANNUAL REPORT
During this past year our Council made the commitment to engage with the Mission per Square Foot Project (MPSF) to explore how we could continue make our church more fully engaged in work that would improve the lives of people in our neighbourhood. At a workshop held in October after worship, Andrew Hurrell tried to help us define what our passion was? Now generally we are a reserved and deeply thoughtful people, and so this generated a few uncomfortable smiles as we wondered what were folks passionate about? Of course that word passion has a variety of meanings, but I surmise that this is the definition that Andrew was working with: passion: intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction
