The five principles of Hindu is called Panca Sraddha which consist of

believe in God or Brahman ( Widhi Sraddha), believe in Atma (Atma Srad-

dha), believe in Punarbhawa ( Punarbhawa Sraddha), believe in Moksa (

Moksa Sraddha) and believe in Karmaphala (Karmaphala Sraddha).

Karma is the Sanskrit word for "action" or "deed". Any physical or mental

action is considered as Karma. The results or 'fruits' of actions is called

Karma-phala or fruit of Karma. According to Hinduism, life is an infinite

chain of results of actions or Karma in the past. In simple words this works

as "Law of Cause and Effect" or "As you sow, so you reap". The way the

results of Karma are delivered in life is the “Law of Karma”.

Karma in Hinduism is considered to be a spiritually originated law that

governs all life. In the Law of Karma even though an individual is consid-

ered to be the sole doer and enjoyer of his Karmas and their 'fruits', accord-

ing to Vedanta, the supreme being (The Divine) plays a major role as the

dispenser of the 'fruits' of Karma. Many Hindus see God's direct involve-

ment in this process; others consider the natural laws of causation

sufficient to explain the effects of Karma.
