“Resolutions shall lead into revolutions”

Be spiritually strong

Spiritually strong = To be strong in the Word of God

= spiritual prosperity

Joshua 1:9 “Only be thou strong and very

courageous, that thou mayest observe to do

according to all the law, which Moses my

servant commanded thee: turn not from it to

the right hand or to the left, that thou

mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest”

Questions you may ask yourself..

• How much value due you give to the Word of God?

• Do you maintain a quite time on a daily basis for

mediation of the Word of God and personal prayer?

• Do you take time to study the Word of God?

• Do you apply the Word of God in your life?

• Do you share the Word of God?

Col 3:16 “…….Let the Word of Christ dwell in

you richly in all wisdom:”

Daniel’s life

A. Strong in adverse circumstances – Away

in an alien land alone (V . 2)

B. Moving around in a higher society ( V.4)

C. Attractive resources ( V.5)

D. Guaranteed career ( V.5)

Classic example of strong resolutions based on the

Word of God – Dan.1.

Daniel 1:8

But Daniel purposed in his heart

that he would not defile himself

with the portion of the king's

meat, nor with the wine which he

drank: therefore he requested of

the prince of the eunuchs that

he might not defile himself.

What made Daniel to have such a strong resolution?

1. He was spiritual in that he

could discern the unspiritual

circumstances he was

placed. ( 1 Cor. 1: 15)

2. He could detect the hidden

defilement in the resources

provided because he was

well versed with the

Dietary laws.

V. 17 As for these four

children, God gave them

knowledge and skill in all

learning and wisdom: and

Daniel had understanding in

all visions and dreams.

Yet, his resolution was very strong before

the Lord.
