Report of 3th Meeting report fromvisit to Bognor Regis The 3 th meeting took place in United Kingdom at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Bognor Regis. All partners took part in the meeting: 6 teachers from Slovenia, 6 from Turkey, 8 17 th June Teachers from Poland arrived at Bognor Regis late afternoon. The day was devoted to getting know each other. 18 th June The official beginning of the meeting took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. All the teachers taking part in the project were present. Because there are many immigrants attending school, including Polish, the school organized a meeting for Polish teachers and Polish parents. It was a good idea to exchange the views and opinions about education in UK and in Poland. During the official visit, Polish teachers had an opportunity to see the school and its organization like: rooms, classes, books, equipment, etc. Polish teachers lead two kindergarten classes. They prepared musical, gymnastic and art activities. 19th June During that day, teachers from Turkey, Slovenia and Poladn visited the school and 2 kindergarten units. They also visited a very modern nursery. The fact that children have a possibility to free activities all the time was very interesting for our teachers. Later, teachers from Slovenia and Turkey lead classes at kindergarten units. Slovenian teachers taught to make different shapes and things from clay,

The 3th meeting took place in United Kingdom at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary

School in Bognor Regis.

17th June

Teachers from Poland arrived at Bognor Regis late afternoon. The day was

devoted to getting know each other.

18th June

The official beginning of the meeting took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary

School.

All the teachers taking part in the project were present. Because there are many

immigrants attending school, including Polish, the school organized a meeting

for Polish teachers and Polish parents. It was a good idea to exchange the

19th June

During that day, teachers from Turkey, Slovenia and Poladn visited the school

and 2 kindergarten units.

Slovenian teachers taught to make different shapes and things from clay,

whereas Turkish teachers taught how to make embroidery on a fabric using

needle and thread.

In the afternoon, the partners visited the castle at Arundel.

20th June

At that day there was organized a trip to London. We got information about the

history of the town and its culture and tradition.

At the evening there was a meeting and performance organized by teachers

from St. Mary’s School which was graced by children’s school choir.

21st June

During the last day of the visit we saw a dancing and singing performance

which took place at the venue in front of the school. It was a huge and official

school celebration attended by students and their parents. Each class prepared

a dance from different region of the world.

Later that day there was a meeting devoted to evaluation of the project:

activities done so far

tasks for the forthcoming meeting

administration of the project website

exchanging photos and DVDs

arranging next meeting (there were changes in the meeting). Polish

partners will host the next meeting at 7-11th October.
