INFRASTRUCTURE• The domestic airport of Mumbai has
two terminals namely terminal 1A & 1B.
• Terminal 1A is a multi-storey structure housing the Basement, Departure, Arrival & Terrace at different levels. It also accommodates a canteen and Kingfisher office. It was constructed in late 90’s.
• Terminal 1B is a G+2 storeys structure with part of it as G+3. It was constructed in two phases. The RCC structure was built in the period of 1964-67. The pre-engineering building (PEB) structure was built in the period of 2004-06.

• The Cooling Tower is 130 m tall with diameter of 118 m at plinth level, 90 m at top level and 70 m at neck level.
• The chimney is 130 m tall with diameter of 9 m at bottom level and 4.5m at top level.

BRIDGES• Turbhe Flyover is an important link on
Mumbai-Pune Highway.
• It was partially commissioned in 1994 and was fully commissioned in 1994.
• The flyover consists of 59 spans; out of which 4 obligatory spans over the railway line are PSC girders and the rest of the 55 spans are RCC box girders.
• Structwel carried out the Structural Audit including Non-destructive Testing of all the components of the super structure including the girders, deck slab with bituminous wearing coat, crash guard, expansion joints and bearings.

manufacturer of plastic components for Automotive sector, has one of its manufacturing units at Gurgaon in an area occupying around 43530.20 sq. ft.
• A major fire broke out in the unit in June 2015 charring the entire ground floor and the first floor of the factory; which were being used as raw material storage and godown.
• The fire also gutted the main production hall having a total height of around 20 m.

• This famous structure accidently caught fire in February 1990 consuming the first few clusters of seating and the asbestos roofing.
• Structwel assumed the responsibility of the structural retrofitting of the auditorium to resurrect it back glory.

EARTHQUAKE• On 26th January 2001, a major
earthquake hit Gujarat having epicenter in Bhuj. The earthquake devastated mini structures all over Gujarat.
• Structwel was appointed by Health Department and Roads and Bridges Department of Government of Gujarat for carrying out Condition Assessment of the structures including Non-destructive testing and preparation of Cost estimate and tenders.
• Structwel audited around 2500 structures spanning in 9 districts of Gujarat. These structures included important structures like Circuit houses, Hospitals, Community Health Centers & Primary Health Center at Taluka & Village Levels.

masonry palace was under use by the state government until it was destroyed beyond repairs in the Gujarat Earthquake of 2001.
• The Palace occupies an area of approximately 2 Lakh Sq. ft. with a massive temple in its front courtyard. It has a height of up to 40’ and the temple Shikar top reaches beyond 150’.
• Structwel was appointed as an Architectural and Engineering Consultants for the Project with the mandate to restore and retrofit the entire structure.
