Driver ID Key Reader – Driver identification is a critical
aspect of Driver behaviour modification. The active driver ID
function is programmed to stop unauthorised driving.
Driver Key Management – This feature allows
the client to photograph the driver and assign
individuals to specific departments or depots.
Driver’s Licence and PDP expiry dates are
also recorded.

Driver Messaging Module (DMM) – One of the key success factors of
Autotrak Bureau Services is the pro-active communication of event specific
instructions when a driver violates parameters. The system operates at near-
real-time. The DMM messaging system requires no physical manipulation to
receive the messages.
Trip Start – The pre-trip inspection is for your safety, please buckle your
seat-belt & drive carefully

Jamming Detection Device – With the continued increase in the use
of “Jamming technology” as the methodology utilised while stealing or
hijacking vehicles, Autotrak has developed a mechanism to identify
when a “Jamming unit” is being deployed. The Autotrak unit will then
render the vehicle into “Limp mode”, whereby the vehicle will be
governed to around 600rpm.

Timed Route Monitoring – Routes are coupled to specific vehicles and the routes are
broken down into fifteen minute (15 min.) segments. Should a vehicle fail to achieve a marker
point within the allotted time, contact is made with the driver to ascertain what the delay is.
This also helps to reduce the “get-away” time should a vehicle be “jammed”, to no more than
fifteen (15) minutes. Should a vehicle not be allocated a route, it will be “Auto Armed”.

Driver Safety Club – We currently have hundreds of vehicles being
monitored through the bureau. Should a vehicle/driver generate a
“problem” alert, then vehicles/drivers in the vicinity are contacted,
becoming our eyes and ears, thereby getting a good understanding of
the exact problem quickly. This allows for the expedient deployment of
the correct remedial action.

Driver Induction – Prior to implementation of the Bureau Services,
we deliver a “Driver Induction Presentation”, which is aimed at
introducing the systems’ methodologies and informing drivers of the
parameters which have been set.
Software Training – Users will be introduced to the web based
software and given pointers on how to get the most from the
management system. “Waypoint” & “Route” input will be explained and
instructed, as these are a critical part of risk mitigation.
Driver Training – Autotrak has introduced a Driver Training Module,
which is currently being developed to be comprehensive and “outputs”
based. Driver data will be analysed and corrective training will be
preceded by a theoretical module.
