“I moved from Kharkiv to Lviv nearly a year ago. In general, the adaptation went very easily for me. I guess, the most challenging experience was to explore new routes and learn the street names :)I really like that the distances here are shorter, that’s why you spend less time travelling around the city. Also, Lviv is a perfect place to explore Ukrainian culture, get acquainted with traditions, probably unknown in other cities.

Lviv’s architecture is very rich, the city offers a variety of entertainment, so you’ll always have lots of opportunities to spend your free time.

I’ve broken some stereotypes while living in Lviv. One of them isvery popular in Central and Eastern Ukraine. It claims that Russian isnot spoken in Lviv. I’m Russian-speaking and I don't feel anyinconveniences. Another myth states that life in tourist cities is veryexpensive. In fact, I noticed no differences in prices for food andservices (except taxi fares that are slightly higher).”
