Adoption of the upright posture is a significant element of rehabilitation either at the stage of the clinic treatment or during the following period of home training. the meaning of learning or restoring the upright position pattern has the key meaning in the post-traumatic rehabilitation but also in neurology and permanent disfunctions of the locomotor system both in adults and children.Ceiling installed rail defines the track of walking which can be custom chosen and set while ordering the rail to fit the dimentions of the rehabilitation room. line of sKol-as devices dedicated to triple dimensional scoliosis therapy is a result of therapeutic steps during scoliosis correction. sKol-as enables active and conscious rehabilitation to restore the correct posture and teaching the self-correction by the patient. The beginning of the therapy starts from the recumbent position. Next stage is the upright position and exerciss in sitting.sKol-as therapeutic method is one of the few documented methods to affect the passive and active spine stabilization system together with the nervous system which is controlling the aforementioned structurep. the sKol-as method is based on sosort (society on scoliosis orthopaedic and rehabilitation treatment) rec-ommendations.the correction with sKol-as method and apparatus is dedicated to children and youth suffering the spine curve between 6 and 40 degree of the Cobb’s scale.sKol-as enables to use the sport training bases in scoliosis therapy which helps the child to achieve permanent adaptation modifications and change the habits of wrong posture, targeting the re-education of the correct movement pattern.Authors of the method are: associate professor Ph.D. Andrzej Suchanowski and Andrzej Stolarz.
