Registration for Alumni Weekend events is available online at our website: bu.edu/medaw. You may also call our office to register at 617.638.5150. Please register by May 1st.
Join us for an important BUSM tradition—Alumni Weekend! Each spring, alumni come together to reconnect with classmates, explore a campus they may not have visited in years, visit former faculty, hear from current students about their experiences, and enjoy the city they once called home.
The most sought-after events are the individual Class Reunion dinners, taking place at The W Hotel, Boston. For many alums this is a meaningful experience beyond their expectations. You won’t want to miss it this year!
The weekend will kick off Friday with Alumni Grand Rounds. Our Distinguished Alumni Award recipients, Drs. Nicole Gibran ’85 and Kevin Tracey ’83, will present at Grand Rounds. After hearing them present, join us for the inaugural Distinguished Alumni Awards Luncheon. We will recognize Nicole for her career in Surgery and Kevin for his contributions to Immunology and Neuroscience.
Hear from current students and faculty about transformative changes in the BUSM medical education curriculum in our popular “Campus Experience” program. Learn what it is like to be a medical student in 2017! This has been a thoroughly enjoyable event through the years for alumni of all class years. There is always something new to see here!
Return on Saturday to go back in time with Associate Dean Doug Hughes, who will present a historical perspective of the medical school. Join current students who will show you what it’s like on campus now. You will have much to talk about and share with your classmates during your reunion dinner Saturday night!
Making a Reunion gift is also a worthy tradition. It helps provide a foundation for the School’s success and an investment in our future leaders in medicine. I can tell you from my personal experience that our students benefit greatly from your generosity. I invite you to pay it forward and make your gift to celebrate your milestone!
I hope you will agree that your BUSM reunion time will be a wise investment in your personal and professional life.
I look forward to welcoming you back in May!Reunite Reminisce Reconnect
