Dear Prospective Camper:The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse coaching staff and players would like to invite you and your teammates to participate in the area’s most comprehensive fall instructional softball league.September 16 will be an instructional day (no games). Each competition Sunday (9/30;10/7;10/14;10/21) will include a 1-hour warm-up/ instructional period and two 7-inning games (80 minute time limit for each game). Sunday, September 16 – Instructional DaySunday, September 23 – No league games. Come watch UWL Softball games! Wear camp t-shirt and receive free admission. (10 am &12 noon vs Viterbo; 2 pm vs Iowa State).Sunday, September 30 - One hour Warm-up; Two 7-inning games (80 minute time limit with 10-minute break)Sunday, October 7 - One hour Warm-up; Two 7-inning games (80 minute time limit with 10-minute break)Sunday, October 14 - One hour Warm-up; Two 7-inning games (80 minute time limit with 10-minute break)Sunday, October 21 - One hour Warm-up; Two 7-inning games (80 minute time limit with 10-minute break)Sunday, October 28 – Rain dateGame schedules will be distributed no later than September 10. The high school league (grades 9-12) will take place at UWL’s North Campus Field and the Pammel Creek Fields in La Crosse, WI, and the middle school league (grades 6-8) will take place at the Jaycee Fields in Onalaska, WI. If an eighth grader would like to play on a high school team, please call Coach Helixon to request.If you have a group of 12 minimum that would like to play on the same team, please contact Coach Helixon, 608-785-6536, for details. Groups that sign up as teams are allowed to have one parent coach, but each of these teams must have one UWL student-athlete as a coach as well.
