What is REACH?
Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of ChemicalsNew EU Regulation that became in law on 1 June 2007REACH places greater responsibility on industry to manage the risks that chemicals may pose to the health and the environment
Reach Scope
All substances manufactured or imported into the EU at 1 ton per year or more per manufacturer/importerIncludes substances supplied at over 1 ton per year in articles (per producer or importer) if substance is intended to be released during normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use
