The name “Donaji” dates back to the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures. King Cosijoeza, ruler of the city of Zaachila, had a daughter to whom he gave the name “Donaji” meaning “grand soul”. During a series of disputes, the Mixtecs took revenge on the King by sacrificing his daughter. It is said that years later when the body was found, it was still in perfect condition and beautiful species of wild lilies had grown. The State of Oaxaca created it’s shield in 1828 which is the head of the Princess Donaji laying down. The Chagoya family has been making Mezcal since the late 1800’s and five generations later make some of the finest Mezcals.

Abre Ojos is a small batch, craft tequila brand. Our mission is to make the craft tequila experience accessible by creating an authentic product at an approachable price. We worked hand in hand with our partner families in Jalisco for 3+ years to develop exclusive recipes. Our company was built upon the concepts of quality over quantity, sipping, slowing down, and being open to the experiences surrounding you.Every bottle of Abre Ojos is made in small batches, twice distilled from 100% naturally grown Blue Weber Agave, fermented in open air vats, and cooked in traditional brick ovens before being hand labeled in the town of Tequila, Mexico.

These Blue Weber Agave are aged between 8 to 12 years yielding a mature yet bright flavors. The Silver is aged 45 days in stainless steel tanks. Aromas and flavors of earthy roasted agave, slight hints of white pepper, sweet lemon lime and an intriguing subtle smokiness. CHÂTEAU DU TARIQUET

The story of Tariquet involves two world wars, two continents and two bears. During the late 19th century, many French country folk experienced financial hardship and were forced to emigrate. Among their number was a young man, named Artaud. Artaud lived in Ercé in Ariège. The little village is at the foot of the Pyrenees, and there were many mountain bears. Artaud learned bear taming, at which he was particularly adept. With his two bears in tow he left for America. In 1912, Artaud returned to France and happened upon the Tariquet wine estate in Éauze. His meagre savings were not enough to purchase the estate and so he invited his son, Jean-Pierre Artaud who lived in New York, to buy the property with him. As most of the vines had been destroyed by phylloxera, all that was left were seven hectares of vineyards in a sorry state.With the onset of the First World War, Jean-Pierre returned to France to fight, leaving his wife, Pauline, in New York. After the war, the couple travelled back to France. Upon their return they bore a child, Hélène. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Pyrenees, a Frenchman of Spanish- descent, Pierre Grassa, worked as a laborer. He enrolled with the Joinville battalion and during the Second World, Pierre’s unit was taken captive. Eventually, he escaped and fought with the French Resistance in Éauze. It was here that he met the lovely Hélène. They fell madly in love and painstakingly restored Tariquet. The estate began producing Bas-Armagnac once more. In 1972, with the help of two of his children, Yves and Maïté, Pierre established a company to sell their Armagnacs. The company had received much acclaim and produces a wide range of Bas- Armagnacs.

Produced in France from the Folle Blanche grape, this Armagnac is distilled in an alembic pot still heated by wood. It’s aged for 8 years in lightly toasted French oak barrels where it picks up color and complexity, and bottled at cask strength to preserve its flavors and aromas. Spirit Journal

60% Ugni-blanc, 40% Baco. Aged in oak barrels at least 3 years. A beautiful amber shade of antique gold. The bouquet initially suggests freshly baked bread and light toffee. Aeration reveals a gentle warmth that intensifies, leading to notes of candied angelica. The palate is bold and youthful, with a touch of vanilla, suffused with the heat of distillation and the youth of roasted oak. A brandy full of supple tenderness.

60% Ugni-blanc, 40% Baco. Aged in oak barrels at least 7 years. A beautiful shade of amber. A strong prune bouquet with a wealth of concentrated aromas, the suggestion of freshly baked bread and a touch of toast and gingerbread. Aeration reveals superb aromas of baking bread, candied fruit. So smooth and well-rounded on the palate that there is only the flavor of fine oaky vanilla, with no trace of alcohol. Good length with a hint of macerated stone fruit on the finish.

60% Ugni-blanc, 40% Baco. Aged in oak barrels at least 15 years. An intense bouquet, steeped with the aromas of freshly baked bread, toast and underlying candied fruit. Fresh, supple and well-rounded on the palate, revealing a subtle union of vanilla oak and fruit. Good length, with the aromas of dried fruit and toast on the finish.

BRANDY

Western Grace is an Old World brandy from La Mancha—the Spanish birthplace of brandy—where grapes have been cultivated and distilled for spirits since the 13th century. Made from Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parel- lada grapes cultivated under a strict regimen, the liquid is solera-aged in American oak, then rounded out in sherry vats, with a final touch of tequila barrels for an added layer of complexity.

The result is a smooth and balanced, full-flavored brandy with notes of oak, grape, vanilla, walnut, hazelnut, and cocoa—an ideal, versatile brandy for traditional neat serves and craft mixology cocktails alike.

Western Grace Distilling was founded by two business partners, Kevin Beyer and Dave Welty. After 18+ years of developing and reinvigorating spirits brands for their clients, they decided to do it for themselves. With little innovation in brandy over the last 50 years, Kevin and Dave took control of the narrative and created a brandy that people were unfamiliar with – a “new” brandy which is drier, less sweet, and more versatile in the glass.

Partnering with Full Package Spirits, the makers of Milagro, Ancho Reyes and Montelobos, Kevin and Dave launched Western Grace Brandy in the summer of 2016. In 1849 a fire burned the distillery down. The 5th generation owner Robert Laird rebuilt the distillery on the site where it remains today in Scobeyville, New Jersey.Always know for it’s quality, George Washington heard of the reputation and requested some for his troops in 1760, over quantity, 8 generations later.

Re:Find Distillery hand zests 10,000 pounds of Femminello St. Teresa lemons, the traditional lemon used for limoncello, grown by California family farmers. The zesting takes 20 people 3-4 days to complete. We then soak the zest in our meticulously clean, high proof vodka for 3-4 months. When all of the oils and aromatic qualities are pulled out of the zest, we remove the zest from the vodka and slowly add a simple syrup, to taste. This results in an ideal balance of fresh lemon flavor, alcohol, and sweetness. Bottling with out the use of carbon filtration results in a vibrancy that is unparalleled.

Our Aged Rum starts its life from sugar and molasses distilled with our developed distillation methods to retain flavor and smoothness. It gets barreled in a used Bourbon barrel and set to rest for 3-4 months. Light and airy. Fruity and floral all exist in this unique aged rum. This is a different type of experience found in most aged rums. Smooth while remaining true to the beginnings as white rum.

LYON RUM is the flagship product of Windon Distilling, located in Saint Mi-chaels, Maryland, steps from the Chesapeake Bay. Founded in 2012, the dis-tillery launched with a signature line of rums paying tribute to the rich, spirited traditions of the Eastern Shore. LYON spirits start with all American intention-ally-sourced raw ingredients, and are truly hand-crafted – mashed, fermented, and double-distilled in small pot stills – every step of the way, resulting in a supe-rior and unique final product. The goal is to create distinctly American spirits – working to define the category of New American Rum, while experimenting with obscure and varied finishes. VERMOUTH FALSET NEGRE NV

This cooperative was founded in 1912 and now has more than 250 families in the D.O of Monsant where they have lived in the villages of Falset and Marça for generations making wine, vermouth and olive oil.Vermut Falset is made using Grenache and Carignane grapes, which are then fermented on their skins just like in red wine production. The result is a very aromatic wine with a deep red color. When the wine is ready, it is fined, filtered and a special infusion is added made up of 120 different herbs which will be left to macerate for more than a year in 500 and 600 litre oak barrels. The exact proportions and components which make up the infusion are a faithful reproduction of the original recipe which Cooperativa Falset Marçà was using since 1919.This infusion is added then to the base wine in suitable proportions, the sweetness is corrected and it is left to rest for nearly three years in 225 Liter oak vats. No caramel is added.The vermouth is bottled in small quantities and the vats are refilled and never completely emptied. Vermut Falset is bottled without any physical or chemical modifications which may cause some settling in the bottom of the bottle over time.We can enjoy the red version of Vermut Falset after nearly fifty years since it was last made. By pure chance it was recovered the original formula which was lost back in the sixties.Alcohol content: 16%

Lairds is the oldest continuous family run distillery in America. Starting in 1717 after Alexander Laird immigrated from Scotland to New Jersey and starting plying his trade from the homeland to apple brandy.The first distillery was built in the back of the historic Colts Neck Inn in Colts Neck, New Jersey. In 1849 a fire burned the distillery down. The 5th generation owner Robert Laird rebuilt the distillery on the site where it remains today in Scobeyville, New Jersey.Always know for it’s quality, George Washington heard of the reputation and requested some for his troops in 1760, over quantity, 8 generations later.

Re:Find Vodka is crafted from premium California wine-grapes that are grown, fermented, distilled, and bottled unfiltered in Paso Robles' wine country. They believe in transparency in their distilling practices and the authenticity of the ingredients distilled. In doing so, what was once a conversation about how many times a spirit is distilled and filtered is now a discussion about the quality of both the ingredients and fermentation, and what each brings to the final spirit. In the search to promote sustainability, Villicana Winery owners Alex and Mon-ica spend years of planning to find a use for their saignee juice from the winery. Saignee is the free-run juice bled off from wine fermentation to concentrate quality of the wines, and is often thrown away. By fermenting this bleed and triple distilling it, Re:Find has a new use for saignee. This is not grappa, which utilizes what is left over after fermentation, rather the prized free-run juice removed prior to.

Most mashbills use somewhere between 5-7% Malted Barley. Second generation distiller Andrew Buchanan uses 19%, it brings in some smoke, leather and deep tobacco notes into a what is a traditional Bourbon mashbill. He distills in batch around 115-120, which means that everything that comes of our still goes directly into the barrels. From there he uses 5.8 gallon barrels with an aging time of 4-5 months. They give a nod to the idea of Bottled in Bond by bottling the Bourbon at 100 proof.The taste profile for the Bourbon is sweet and spicy, smokey and smooth. Deep flavors of stone fruits play on the front end with an incredibly long finish reminding most of an excellent Scotch Whiskey. 62% Corn, 19% Rye, 19% Malted Barley

The Bourbon has a mash bill of 75% corn and 25% barley. The nose with a whiff of honey and covers the palate with soft orange, ending with a toffee finish.

Black Maple Hill was first introduced in 2000. The early releases are said to be bottled by Julian Van Winkle III himself. The magical touch of Van Winkle conferred an irresistible desirability, and bottles began to sell for thousands of dollars. Demand out-weighted the sourcing, and eventually Paul Joseph, owner of CVI Brands, decided to look for another source. Enter Stein Distillery, a small family-owned craft distillery in Joseph, Oregon. Very important to production, the distillery grows their own grain, so they have 100% control of the quality. Black Maple Hill was re-introduced in 2014. The Oregon Black Maple Hill releases don’t carry an age statement, but they’re made up of casks between four and five years of age, and each batch in only about 180 cases.

They collaborate with artisanal California craft brewer Firestone Walker to obtain a non-hopped wort from a proprietary mash bill consisting of rye, wheat, and barley. Then ferment, distill, age, and bottle the whiskey at their distillery in Paso Robles, California. It is aged for 12-36 months in 10 or 15 gal-lon barrels giving total control over the flavor profile which results in a memo-rable, well-balanced whiskey.

Ben Nevis Distillery established in 1825, is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. The distillery is nestled at the foot of Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, which has a summit elevation of 4'406 feet above sea level. This imposing mountain provides an impressive background to a traditional Scottish craft.The distillery was established in 1825 by "Long John" McDonald, a 6ft 4in descendant of a ruler of the western Scottish kingdom of Argyll. In 1878 a second distilling unit was built nearby as an extension to Ben Nevis itself. It was called Nevis and operated as a separate entity for 30 years before being absorbed into the Ben Nevis operation in 1908. A housing development occupies the site of Nevis distillery. In 1989 the distillery was sold by Whitbread to Mitsui, partner of the Japanese whisky-makers Nikka. The new owners restored production of malt but not grain whisky in 1990 under the name Ben Nevis Distillery Co Ltd.

The quality of this dram is apparent starting with a nose of lush honeydew melon and guava while the palate remains dry and creamy. Benrinnes was founded in the 1920's in the heart of the Speyside region of the Highlands. Its pedigree shines through in this dram. On the nose, there is the luxurious scent of sweet creamy barley that epitomizes the region. On the palate, you get some creamy smoky notes that end with hints of licorice, anise, and spice. This classic Islay distillery has produced exceptional whisky since 1881. This limited bottling of 400 bottles was chosen because it possesses the qualities which have made the distillery famous. It is soft, creamy, nutty and clean with a touch of sea air and peat. A very pretty dram indeed.

Although young in years this Islay is full of character. Pungent peat with a hint of sweetness on the nose, the taste is rounded and powerful, with lots of peat.
