That means the acoustic models can be created to simulate the sound quality and distribution even before installation. As per BS5839 part 8, EN60849 and NFPA 72 a minimum of 0.5 RaSTI is required to achieve the required intelligibil- ity. APPROVAL & STANDARDS All ATEIS loudspeakers have gone through tough testing procedures to ensure that all products can operate at their rated power in compliance to IEC60268 – Part 5. As well all the Fire Rated products had gone under actual fire tests to insure compliance to BS5839 part 8. The PH series are tested in accordance to IEC60268 Part 5 for high quality intelligibility. The “TC” version complies to BS5839 part 8, hence fitted with ceramic terminals and thermal fuse. ARCHITECT & ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION Unit shall be Ateis Model (PH10T, PH20T, PH30T) or approved equal. Horn speaker shall consist of a weather- resistant ABS housing, high density phenolic resin diaphragm, internal 100-volt transformer, epoxy coated stainless steel mounting bracket, stainless steel hardware and 17 inches five conductor wire. (PH10T shall have a frequency response of 400-8,000 Hz and be rated at 10 watts with transformer taps at 10, 5, 2.5 and 1.25 watts. Sensitivity shall be 97 dB @ 1 watt, 1 meter.) (PH20T shall have a frequency response of 250-8,000 Hz and be rated at 20 watts with transformer taps at 20, 10, 5 and 2.5 watts. Sensitivity shall be 101 dB @ 1 watt, 1 meter.) (PH30T shall have a frequency response of 330-8,000 Hz and be rated at 30 watts with transformer taps at 30, 15, 7.5 and 3.75 watts. Sensitivity shall be 104 dB @ 1 watt, 1 meter.)
