Pyramid of Success - Core Values
• “Success is the peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.”
– John Wooden• Success is a by-product of doing things right and hard• We want playing football at MA to be a cause our players give
themselves to - preparing them for 20 years from now – What kind of husbands, fathers, and leaders have our players become?
How Do We Define Success?
• Build relationships – relationships are the foundation of our team• Control the BALL – Control it, protect it, and take it away• Execute – Know your role, do your job, and do it well while limiting
unforced errors and penalties• Play Great Defense – Stop the run, play fast, pursue the football,
tackle, and create turnovers• Multi-Dimensional Offense – Run and pass the ball with consistency• Win Special Teams – Create field position, create momentum, score
points, and create turnovers• Develop multi-sport athletes
