Beckie assisted me in all phases of project design and production on several greenfield hospital projects, healthcare renovation projects, and medical office building projects of various sizes and complexities all over the United States. Beckie easily juggled varied tasks on multiple projects across all phases of the document delivery process: from producing three-dimensional electronic renderings for schematic design, to conducting design development departmental user meetings, to producing working drawings for both exterior and interior portions of projects, while assisting with cross-disciplinary coordination between the various structural, interior design, and MEP consultants with whom we worked. I have always been impressed with Beckie’s excellent work ethic, her desire to discover, and her propensity to please. She was always a quick learner, a fearless problem solver, and great mentor to our younger employees. Although initially contributing to projects as an intern architect, Beckie quickly became a strong job captain and project architect, as well as my “right-hand”. Beckie exhibited great knowledge and expertise in Revit and other software, and she consistently took the lead in navigating complicated issues associated with our transition from CAD to building modeling. Her composure in pressure situations and under difficult conditions has been admirable, and her humor and personality has helped to diffuse many tense situations while earning the respect of our clients, contractors, and her peers. The aggressive schedules for many of our projects often required time commitments from the design team above and beyond a typical 40-hour workweek. Beckie’s dedication and hard work on my projects were instrumental and, many times, critical to delivering projects to our clients on schedule. I considered Beckie an integral and essential part of my project team and my recommendation for her is unqualified. Should you have any further questions regarding Beckie and my strong recommendation, please feel free to contact me at 214.969.3208.
