First Olympic Memory… “When I was young I would sit with my parents and watch the Olympics on TV and I never thought that I would be there one day, it was just great to watch my sport on TV. I never thought the Olympics was an option for me so when I came home with a gold medal from the ’08 Olympic Games I was on top of the world. Watching my flag go up and singing the National Anthem on the podium was a wonderful experience.”
