We are, walked upon…From the showroom to the workshop!even the harshest treatment of our products in workshops or showrooms will not affect
argeltih ceramic tiles. the automotive industry appreciates and is familiar with the durability,
easy cleaning and maintenance of our products.
Turnkey projects:thick tiles are an important factor for all environments, where high dynamic, static and impact
loads are expected. this is where we are market leaders and supply workshops worldwide.
for the showroom environments where the floors are not subjected to high loads 12-15 mm
thickness is sufficient and cost effective.
our product is your advantage: highest quality argelith ceramic tiles are seen from the
workshop to the showroom.
The thickness is our strength!floors are continuously abused – for that reason workshop floors have to be safe! safety in
a workshop environment means protection against mechanical damages, chemicals, slipping,
abrasion, moisture and dirt. depending on the requirement argelith has products of 12, 15
and 18 mm thickness – in various sizes, colours and surfaces. it doesn’t matter what
decision you make when you expect high point loading and longevity – with argelith you
always make the right one!
CLASSIC SERIES – Anthracite / Light grey

What is Argelith famous for? argelith ceramic tiles are extremely dense as a result of our special firing process. our products
therefore achieve best test results. minimized water absorption of less than 0,1 % is achieved
without glaze or impregnation. this enables our product to be stain resistant with easy care
characteristics for years to come, reason enough to plan your projects with argelith tiles.
argelith ceramic tiles fit perfectly into new concept dealerships including important areas like
service reception. as an alternative we can also offer 298 x 298 mm format tiles in super strong
15 mm thickness. these tiles are ideal to create a different look in heavily loaded areas.
Turnkey projects:argelith has extended its product range with our new size 398 x 198 mm in 12 and 15 mm
thickness.

A classic under the CarsCar types come and go, but one classic remains, ceramic tiles from argelith Bodenkeramik.
our product has seen nearly all automotive brands from below.
as time passes, each car, sooner or later has to get acquainted with the workshop, where
it meets our argelith ceramic tiles. our tiles are considered an important component of the
workshop environment. in the automotive industry, it is a well known fact that argelith ceramic
tiles are resistant to oil, acids and alkali, and furthermore have a high point load capacity. our
tiles, available from 16 mm thickness are suitable even for heavy duty equipment like trucks.
for special applications we also manufacture super heavy duty tiles, ranging up to 30 mm
thickness. due to the manufacturing process in tunnel kilns, our tiles become very dense.
this special firing process enables us to produce these thick ceramic tiles for clients with
special requirements. argelith ceramic tiles are durable and achieve extraordinary longevity,
although continuously abused by every day use. this is what makes argelith a classic in its
own right under the cars.

the test clearly shows: The thicker the tile, the greater the load required to cause fractures.
Load distribution of a tile depends on its thickness. As tile thickness increases, load distribution is also greater, resulting in increased mechanical resistance. Ceramic tiles work to distribute the load into the substructure. This load-distribution effect is greater when thicker tiles are used. This should be taken into account during selection and when determining the expected mechanical load.
tests were carried out with a load increase of approximately 1.000 n (corresponds to 100 kg)
per second.
the break occured as the force decreased, bringing along with it visible damage to the test pieces.

argelith has proven to be the right choice for industrial floors requiring resistance to thermal,
chemical mechanical and other stresses. as the graph shows argelith keeps you on the
safe side. argelith tiles meet and exceed both requirements and norms for industrial floors.

Security: stoneware and clinker tiles meet the key requirements in the high load areas of industry
and commerce. and they always exceed the required standards!
Protect your people and the environmentit is important, as well as possibly legally required, that the environment should not be dama-
ged. Whether exposed to oils, fats, alkalis, acids or other dangerous substances a floor of
argelith tiles ensures that the required standards can be met!

Clinker Oil
a special product for clinker tiles to penetrate them and to treat them. it contains high-quality oils and oil-like substances and is almost odorless and ready to use. Clinker oil soaks into the pores, strengthens the natural structure, brightens the color and makes the surfaces less susceptible to soiling. 10 / 20 / 200 liter
