WHY HAVE A FRIENDS & FAMILY DAY?Friends and Family Day at W estvue is this
Sunday, May 15. It is a great opportunity for us to
invite those who are dear to us to come and spend
the day with us in the house of the Lord. In addition,
it is an opportunity for us to invite those in this
community to attend as our guests.
I like the concept of Friends and Family Day
because it gives me motivation to move outside my
comfort zone. Perhaps you are like me and feel you
should be more involved in reaching out to those who
may or may not be Christians. Friends and Family
Day provides us with that opportunity. Remember
there are those living in this area who will attend
W estvue this Sunday if only you will invite them to do
so.
Finally, Friends and Family Day gives us an
opportunity for a victory. Imagine what it will do for us
as a congregation and individual members of it to see
our church building filled with people. Thus let us all
look forward to a great day of worship and fellowship
this Sunday, May 15.
