Reaction Paper In todays modern and busy world, probably most of the people didnt really care for our environment. They just focus on their lives, how to earn for their living, or how to get all the things they may want. The video clips shown to us tells how our lives goes if we care for the nature. Different ways and methods are given to reduce the risk and damages taken by the Earth which is visibly and literally seen by our generation. Many things were also explained like What the greenhouse effect is and how it affects our world. It clearly explained that even simple things can contribute to the global warming. Being a student, I honestly say that I am not doing my responsibilities for our environment. We all know that while we are getting modernized by technology, less time and effort are also exerted for other activities in connection with the environment. Some of the people also disobey simple rules on dumping garbage and segregation of waste materials that can be clogged into waterways that can cause floods on different areas. As explained from one of the video clips, all people are contributing to the Global Warming experienced by our planet. We all have the so called Carbon Footprint which shows how much carbon dioxide we can add to the environment which adds heat to our planet. The food we are taking can also affect the carbon footprint of every person. Each kind of food has a certain value of carbon dioxide added to the environment. Another thing is the usage of plastic wares. It is pretty obvious that plastic is one of the biggest problems of our environment. Many people are disposing plastics carelessly. They just leave it everywhere or to places where it can be left alone. One of these places are the canals or drainage systems on different places. As a result, they are clogged with so much waste thats why water cannot flow and floods are the outcome. In connection with the plastic waste, the biggest challenge is the life without any plastic ware in our house. At first, it was shown that it is really hard to live without any plastic at your side. One of the proofs are the shopping malls which usually use plastic instead of paper bags as containers of the bought product. But, after searching, theyve already seen a store which sells and use organic or eco-friendly materials for us. As a solution, I suggest that our Government must strengthen their campaigns for the nature. It is not only the fun-runs or other activities related to the conservation of ecosystems but the projects to clean and revive our environment. It is better to be sure for a planet to live than to have a modern life with short time to see the beauty of nature.
