HE T word 'provoke' is usually viewed as a negative word (like making one to become angry), but it could be positively implied also. Provoke can be define as 'stir up, arouse, or call forth (feelings, desires, or activity). It can also be to 'incite or stimulate a person to action. While favour is an approval, support or liking for someone or something, there are however differential levels of favour. The extent of favour that a person readily shows may increase if they are provoked or stimulated to do more. Considering the way Solomon was born, it was the favour of God that chose him to be the king of Israel after David (1 Chro. 22:9), without the instructions of God, Absalom would probably have been the intended heir to the throne for his charisma and beauty and general acceptance. It was equally the favour of God that chose Solomon to be the builder of the Temple in Jerusalem above his father David, who was a man after God's heart (1 Chro. 22:10). Solomon understood this very well (1 Chro. 22:7-8), yet he provoked God unto greater favours (1 Kings 3:4-15). After giving a thousand burnt offering to God in one day, well above the norm (Num. 29:1-40), God granted him such favour He has never given anyone before - to ask ANYTHING and it's done! We in Everlasting Father's Assembly are surely favoured by God. This month however, I am prompted in the spirit, that we must spend more time, more energy and more money to provoke Jehovah to grant us greater favours. We have to do whatever we can to inspire, stimulate and induce God to grant us ANYTHING from Him. I pray that we shall hit the threshold in Jesus name. NPRECEDENTED U can be can be defined as: unparalleled, uncommon, out of the ordinary, unusual, outstanding, striking, exceptional, remarkable, unique, unknown, novel, unexampled, unrivalled, unmatched, etc. Favour on the other hand can be defined as approval, support, or licking for someone or something; it could be an overgenerous preferential treatment; or an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual. Favours can come from two sources: from God and Man. It is possible to have favour from Man alone, which might bring temporal celebration, but eventually fade away. In I Kings 1: 5-53, Adonijah was lucky enough to find favour with influential figures in his father’s cabinet who anointed him king over Israel, he didn’t have the favour from God though, so his celebration was short lived. The good thing about favour with God is that it provokes favour from Man. Though this can also induce isolated envies from Man, but it better to be envied by man than to be pitied by them. Essentially, when God CATEGORY 1: For individuals, particularly those who fasted during the 100 days fasting and prayer in 2014 1. The harvest of the 100 days fast will be given this year. 2. This year will be full of testimonies; Those who have none before will have some this year. 3. Some persons will swim in the river of abundance this year. 4. There will be miraculous completion of projects. 5. There will be fulfilment of dreams. 6. There will be miraculous restorations. 7. The song of many will be “The Lord has been good to me“. CATEGORY 2 – INTERNATIONAL 1. Scientific and medical breakthroughs will be many; particularly in the areas of insomnia, dreams and brain dis-order. 2. Ebola will die out. 3. All over the world, insurgency will be considerably weakened. 4. Pray against massive calamities. 5. Pray against massive earthquakes, strong hurricanes and typhoons. CATEGORY 3: FOR RCCG This year, all you need is to charge up your batteries by fasting for FORTY DAYS only. CATEGORY 4: FOR NIGERIA By the end of the year, many will say “All is well that ends well” By Pastor E.A.ADEBOYE favours you, Man will do the same. Solomon was favoured by God, so God instigated Prophet Nathan to act in his favour and he ascended the throne for forty years! The bible makes us to know that it is possible to increase in a favour with God and Man (Luke 2:52). I hear God says He has made us to enjoy His favours up till now, in 2015 however, He says this will increase tremendously! God says, our lives will be characterised with exceeding favours. That favour with outweigh the labour of our hands. That He will compel Mankind to favour us. That people will say of a truth, we must have been favoured by God. God says, the news of His favour upon us will spread to many regions. He says He will receive honour and praise through His favour over our lives. He also says that His favour on us will be contagious, so that people that celebrate His favours on us will in turn be favoured. So throughout 2015, let us expect unprecedented favours of God and Jehovah will perform more than our imagination in Jesus name. Three of the most powerful virtues among humans on Earth are Love, Mercy and Grace. Also three of the greatest blessings that God can show to Mankind are Love, Mercy and Grace. Out of these three, Grace is the most powerful and most special. God is love. Though we understood that agape love is unconditional and sacrificial. I have come to know that just like we can earn the love of another fellow, God’s love can be also earned. Do unto others as you want others to do to you (Mt. 7:12; Luke 6:31). If you love me, you will keep my commandments (John 14:15,23). Those who obey me, I will love them back. Exodus 20:5-6 –Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing steadfast love unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. God is merciful. He can decide to show mercy on who He wants. Again, I have come to know that one can earn or obtain mercy, either from God or from Man. Offend Man: Offender pleaded guilty in court: could be given half term. Show remorseful life in jail: could be pardon or paroled. Offend God: Ahab – punishment delayed (1 Kings 21:20-29). David – sin taken away (2 Sam. 12: 1-14). God is gracious. He does demonstrate His grace on whom He will. Unlike Love and Mercy, Grace is given as a gift. It can’t be earned in anyway. Just as man is saved from sin. There was nothing we could have done or can do to save ourselves. This act of God was prompted by love; as a show of mercy; and given as a gift of grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. It was the grace of God that spared Moses from going to hell (Jude 1:9). It was the grace of God that spared Jonah’s life (Jonah 1:17). It was the grace of God that made Jacob the carrier of Abrahamic covenant (Rom. 9:10-12). God can be gracious to someone, more gracious to another, most gracious to another fellow. May God be most gracious to you. I began to understand the meaning of the grace of God about eighteen years ago, as we were preparing for our wedding. Myself and my wife were trying to design our invitation cards. So I asked her to come up with ideas regarding our toast that needs to go on the card. A number of things came to our minds. But after I’ve prayed and spontaneously opened the bible, the first portion I read was Psalms 67:1. As I wanted to close the bible and to try opening it again, the Spirit of God impressed it upon my spirit to read that chapter again. Then, it suddenly dawned on me that this was to be our anchor-word through our lifetime. Psalm 67:1 –God be gracious unto us, and bless us; and make His face to shine upon us; Selah.It was years later, that I got to know that it was the secret of what makes the Israelites who they are.Numbers 6:22-26 – And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.There are many ways that God can manifest His grace upon our lives. I strongly believe that there is God’s grace for every aspect of life.– There is a universal grace of God over all His creation (Mt. 5:45).– There is then the saving grace for those that acknowledge their sins and repent (Eph. 2:8).– There is a grace to carry on in life, regardless of whatever (2 Cor. 12:9).– There is a grace to live a spectacular life (Acts 6:8).– There is a grace to accomplish more than others (I Cor. 15:10).– There is a grace for financial breakthrough (2 Cor. 8:7).– There is a grace for timely help and assistance. (Hebrews 4:16).Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.E.g. The widow of Nain; Bartimeaus on Jericho road.Going through the bible, one will see that some of the godly characters did enjoy varied dimensions of the grace of God.– Abraham/Isaac/JacobWealthy, long life, etc. But they had to trust God for fruitfulness till the grace was released.– David was a celebrated king, greatly anointed and wealthy. But had to trust God for deliverance from constant oppositions. The same goes for Moses as well.– Aaron/Eli/Samuel were greatly anointed and revered by the Nation of Israel. But they all had problems with their descendants. (Abihu/Nadab; Ophini/Phinehas; Joel/Abijah).– David/Solomon/Rehoboam enjoyed a life of majesty and splendour. But do not particularly live long. (70/60/58 years).2 Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
