Randy V. Heysek's History with the Moffitt Cancer Center

Dr. Randy Heysek, MD FACRO, is a physician in the GU Sarcoma, and Breast Cancer Programs at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. He began working at the Moffitt Center in 2003 and has been deeply involved with the center ever since.

Moffitt is the only Florida-based cancer center to earn the National Cancer Institute’s Comprehensive Cancer Center distinction, and one of only forty-one centers nationwide that shares its research and practices to help improve treatment globally.

Dr. Randy Heysek has been a faculty advisor at the Moffitt Cancer Center for the Association of Medical Sciences’ graduate students, and served on the GU Service Committee since 2009. At the center, he also taught for the Radiation Oncology Resident Education Series from 2007 to 2010 on the topics of bladder surgery vs. bladder preservation, sarcoma, and pediatric sarcoma.
