The Albany County Sheriffs Office reports the arrests of an Albany man on Marijuana charges.

Sheriff Investigators arrested Randall A. Travis III, age 49 of 9 Holmes Ct. in the City of

Albany. Travis was charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the first degree C Felony,

Unlawful Growing Cannabis A Misdemeanor, Endangering the Welfare of a Child A

Misdemeanor. Travis was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Court and released under the supervision

of Probation.

The complaint alleges that Travis was tending to 47 marihuana plants in his residence which

were in various stages growth. Travis ran this growing operation out of the basement of his residence

where he resides with his 16 year old daughter. Sheriffs Investigators executed a search warrant at

Traviss house and found in addition to the 47 plants, Grow lights, drying racks, grinders andpackaging material plus more than a quarter pound of packaged marihuana.
