PROJECTS Project/Client Packer-all/ Appcito Contribution In this project we have created a packer image using packer tool by Hashicorp. It can be
used to deploy on multiple cloud providers such as OpenStack,AWS (Amazon Web
Service),GCP (Google Cloud Platform). The motive of the project is to create an
infrastructure wide system image onto which various virtual machines can be
deployed. The relevant post is available at Linkedin . Technologies/Tools Used Packer, Virtual Machine, Cloud, Virtual Machine Image
Project/Client Website 2.0/ The Remote Lab Contribution In this project I built the front end website using HTML5,CSS3 and Javascript. It was built in
coordination & consent with other team members. The project was made available on
Github as open source and replaced with the older version of the live site. The website was
made mobile and desktop compatible with frequent testing and feedback from other
clients.
Technologies/Tools Used JavaScript, CSS, Chrome, Firefox
Project/Client Turbo/ Personal
Contribution I created a wrapper utility using golang based on docker. The project has been
implemented by a command line tool using which various different commands can be run
to help docker users easily accelerate & advance the usage of docker containers without
going through & downloading any extra utilities. The relevant post is available at myblog .
Technologies/Tools Used Docker, Golang
Project/Client Building Continuous Delivery with Kubernetes /Personal
To build and experiment the continuous delivery models using Kubernetes Contribution The project was started with an aim to build different models using which continous
delivery can be possible with the google’s orchestration engine called as kubernetes.I
tested out the Jenkins plugin using which it could be made possible and demonstrated use
case of a better framework model called fabric8 for achieving a similar goal. The post is live
at TRL blog.
Technologies/Tools Used Kubernetes, Jenkins, Fabric8
Project/Client Developing DevOps Community /The Remote Lab
The aim of the project was to implement community based interaction with similar DevOps
interests and a common space. Contribution As a startup devops company,The Remote Lab wanted to find a solution using which they
can communicate and contribute their efforts on devops.I proposed the idea of using slack
as a medium of connecting various people with similar interests around the globe. We
started the Let’s DevOps community.Later on we automated the way using which anyone
can connect with the community by using Heroku and building a similar page for people to
be able to invite themselves without any authorisation. The invite page is live at
http://letsdevops.herokuapp.com/.
