CELL – RT EDUSLUM

2011-12 was the best season of NSS IITR in my opinion, but still there was some worse point-

Some of 1st and 2nd yearites were not so enthusiastic for social work.

Guidance of 1st yearites was not too good about the survey, events etc.

I was in RT-EDUSLUM cell, but i did slightly contribution in some other cells. Here i am describing what activities i have done in NSS.

Work Done In NSS

1. My golden tour with my team of NSS RT-EDUSLUM started with the survey of physically handicapped people in khanjarpur village on August 21st

.

2. I started with prayas class to educate P.D. and SLUM children with my team from August 23rd .

3. I did survey with my RT-EDUSLUM team for P.D. people of bhangery village on

September 10 and prepared report for that survey.

4. We did dustbin survey in Khanjarpur village.

5. We did education survey for measuring educational level in both the villages

KHANJARPUR and BHANGERI on January 8th and 14th respectively.

6. We conducted sanitation drive in government school of KHANJARPUR village and

also organised one drawing competition, essay writtting competition on “Clean India”

and origami on 4th FEBRUARY.

7. I gave presentation on The topic “HOW TO MAKE A VILLAGE CLEAN” on 4th feb.

8. Now we conducted one survey for select those physically handicapped people ,who

need help for some kind of equipment , which could be provided with the help of

BHAGWAN MAHAVIR VIKALANGA SAHAYATA SAMITI-DELHI CENTRE (Rajendra

nagar) .

9 . In addition to this I attended all the meetings regarding NSS ,made

posters ,donated blood in BDC and worked full day .

10. I organised meeting to motivate 1st yearites for to be dedicated in social service.

RT-EDUSLUM

1-I will organised a camp on a district level with the help of NGO’s ,Indian railways,social welfare department,CMO(Haridwar) and NSS IIT ROORKEE for physically disabled people.

2- I will aware village people to attend polio drop camp for their children.

3-I will contact to the local industries for giving employment to P.D. people of the village.

4-I will organised workshop i.e. photoshop,weaving work for physically disabled people.

FUTURE PLANING

1-I will started classes for navodaya entrance test in some village school.

2-I will organised test series.

MODEL VILLAGE-

1- I will contact to the local industries for giving employment to the eligible unemployed people of the village.

2- I will aware village people for education through literature campaigning.

3- I will suggest village people to use modern technique of agriculture,fertilizer,compost and other new technique.

RT- AWARENESS-

1-Polio awareness .

2-Education awareness in slum.

3-Seasonal disease awareness in slum.

4-I will aware village people about govt scheme.

RT –EDUCATION-

1-I will repeat all work which have been done in last session but with some implementation.
